Bryan Frost (Chairman)
I have lived in Trimley St Mary since 1977 and am married with two grown up
children.
Having retired from my full time occupation in 2000, I now edit a technical
publication on accountancy related matters and am involved in a number of
voluntary capacities for the
Institute
of
Chartered Accountants.
I have a keen interest in all areas of railway operation and history and
have been a member of the East Suffolk Travellers' Association for several
years, currently chairing its public transport committee. I aim to promote
and improve public transport facilities in the area and act as Parish
Transport Representative for Trimley St Mary and Felixstowe. As a regular
cyclist, I would also like to see better provision for cyclists in this
region.
I am Treasurer of the Friends of
St Felix Home for the Blind, which is actively fund raising in order to try
and keep open Suffolk's only residential home for the blind and visually
impaired.
Mary
Dixon (Vice-Chairman)
Mary Dixon retired from Suffolk Coastal District Council in 2007 after 12
very interesting years representing “The Trimleys” ward. She particularly
worked on planning and environmental issues and she continues to chair the
District Council’s ‘Greenpoint Forum’.
In addition to the Parish Council, her local activities
include the Welcome Hall management Committee and the Trimley Women’s
Institute.
Debra Cooper
(Parish Clerk)
Born and bred in Ipswich,
although I won't say when! Joined H M Customs & Excise in 1982, straight
from college. Worked in various departments within Customs, drugs teams,
baggage benches etc. until promotion in 1990. Also got married in 1990 and
went to work for the VAT Office in Ipswich. I stayed in VAT until 2000 when I
left to have my daughter, Holly. Declined the invitation to return to work
in the VAT Office and became Parish Clerk. Have lived in Felixstowe for 19
years. I am Chairperson of Maidstone Infants School PTA and I am a Parent
Governor at the school.

Graham Harding
For the past 25 years I have been running a
local business. I am married and have two children and four
grandchildren. I was one of the first people to move into New Road
Trimley St Mary and in the past have been connected with Trimley Tigers
cycle speedway and was also one of the original people to set
up Trimley Red Devils.
I was
elected in May 2007 to serve on the Suffolk Coastal District Council.

Jacobs
Married to Colin with 2 sons
I moved to Trimley St Mary in 1982. After some months of part time
employment I took up full time work with BT at Martlesham. I spent 15 happy
years there but decided to 'retire' in 2000. The boys have now flown the
nest so I have settled into life with hubby and 3 dogs.
My
interests at home are gardening, walking, cooking and watching sport. My
interests in the community are local policing levels. The future
development of the Trimleys. Keeping the open areas of the village fit and
safe for people to enjoy.
Colin Jacobs
Married to Ann (obviously).
Lived here the same length of time. Worked for BT at Anzani House and
Martlesham until 1995 since when have been IT manager in various
educational establishments around the county. Currently at Deben High
School. Our two boys attended Trimley St. Mary primary school and Orwell
High and have since moved away.
Interests include music, walking, cycling and sailing. My interests in the
community really cover all aspects.
Richard Kerry
I
have been a resident of Trimley St Mary since 1982, married with four
children. Currently working for Ipswich Town FC as Stadium and Facilities
Technician.
My hobbies include Golf I am a member at the Ferry
GC, a keen game and clay shot, fishing and Cricket, I have recent retired
from playing in the local leagues for Trimley and Felixstowe.
I was elected
in May 2007 to serve on the Suffolk Coastal District Council.

Mayes
I am
happily married with 3 children. We moved to the village of Trimley St. Mary in 2002. I
have always lived in the Felixstowe area and was educated at the local
schools. Since leaving school I have been employed at the Port of
Felixstowe where I wear many 'Hats':-

In 2003 I joined the Parish Council where I sit on the
General Purpose & Finance Committee and the Planning Committee. In 2004 I was elected Parent Governor of Trimley St. Mary
Primary School. I enjoy spending time at home with my friends and family
and playing contract bridge.
David
Southgate
I was born in Debenham in 1948 and have lived in Suffolk all my life
becoming a resident of the parish of Trimley St Mary in 1981.
I have been married to Lesley for 32 years and we have two married sons and
one grandson. Working mainly from home, I am a Sales Manager dealing with
Industrial Fork Lift Trucks.
Since living in Trimley I have been involved in many local activities,
which have included managing two teams for Trimley Red Devils Football Club
and serving on Stennetts Playing Field Committee. Lesley and I are both
members of the RSPB and The Suffolk Wildlife Trust and have an interest in
environmental issues.
For relaxation I enjoy watching football and have been a lifelong supporter
of Ipswich Town Football Club. I also enjoy walking, bird watching,
reading, travel and theatre.
I have served on Trimley St Mary Parish Council for 3 years.
Carl Storer
Carl Storer and his wife, Susan,
have been residents of Trimley St Mary since 1973. Their children attended
Trimley St Mary primary school where Carl became deputy chairman of the
governors and chairman of the School Association.
He retired from full time employment on October 2001 but has since
undertaken a number of business consultancy projects.
He is active with
Save Trimley
Against Growth (STAG) which seeks to prevent large scale housing
developments in the Trimley Villages.
His interests include walking, gardening, good food and going to the
cinema. He has travelled widely including the Far East,
Australia and
USA .
Janet Wright
Originally from London, I have lived in Trimley St. Mary for just over a
year, having previously lived and worked in Ipswich for nearly 30 years. I
have two grown up children and have recently retired from teaching, although
I am still employed as an examinations moderator.
I have a keen interest in the environment and local
history.
